On that time there is no competition, so the performance of Symbian is not good, It is affected by virus bug , lot of firmware issues etc..But now a days they increase the security, performance, speed etc.. Now they introduced two updates Symbian Anna, Symbian Belle. This is better than old Symbian.But Nokia can’t defeat Android due to these reasons

- Android is more secure then Symbian
- Android is more user friendly than Symbian
- Android can use both for fun and also official use
Android has lot of advantages and performance, it can’t provide good battery back up. Battery consumption is very high, this is the main drawback of android Operating system. If Developers can solve this problem then android will become most powerful Operating system for Smartphone.
