I heard a story recently that I found difficult to believe at first. I thought that children had to be actively online in order to be targeted by online predators, so I never worried too much about my own. However I learned a few things and changed my beliefs on online safety and why it is important to track an iPhone.
Online Predators Are Everywhere
My friend Amanda is a nanny for a very successful family. Their children have iPads and they set them up with email accounts. I’m not sure if this was a random occurrence, or if the email was used for an app or a gaming account and that was how the little girl was targeted, but regardless of how it happened, it was something that I had never considered before.

Amanda was looking through the iPad one day and noticed a picture of the 9 year old girl’s naked chest. She thought that was strange and assumed it was an accidental picture that had been taken. Then she saw more pictures, of other areas of the little girl’s body. So she asked the little girl why she was taking these photos. The little girl looked scared and said she couldn’t tell her. After talking with her and promising her that she could trust Amanda, the little girl finally told her that she had received an email from someone she didn’t know, asking her for these pictures for her. The email said if she did not receive these pictures her family would be killed. If she told anyone about them, her family would be killed, situations like this is why a cell phone spy software is important.
We Need To Monitor Children’s Devices
This is the world we live in today. Cell phones and iPads are an easy way to target our children, and as parents we have no clue it is happening unless we do something about it. One way to monitor these devices is to have cell phone spy software installed. Parents can see emails that are received and sent, texts or calls that are received and sent, and even monitor social media accounts. Parents can get access to photos taken with the device, so that if a situation like this happened they can know about it immediately and handle it with their child. Even if things are deleted on the device, a parent will still be able to see it. This software gives parents a safety net and a way to protect their children when they are online, even if they are not always in the same room with them.
The Internet Can Be Made More Safe For Children
The internet is a scary place and with electronic devices allowing children easier access it gets scarier every year. But when parents use free cell phone spy apps to watch over their children while they are using their devices, they can better protect them.
